AAF Inc. Operator Appointment Process
The Australian Access Federation (AAF) has commenced the process to appoint an Operator(s) to deliver many of the AAF services to Federation participants on its behalf. The process involves the following two stages:
Stage 1 – a Request for Information (RFI)
In October/November 2009, the AAF advertised nationally for suitably qualified and experienced companies to respond to a RFI. The closing date for responses was 30 November 2009. Shortlisted Respondents were evaluated by the AAF on the basis of the RFI Selection Criteria outlined in the RFI Response Form and RFI Schedule. This process is now complete.
Stage 2 – a Request for Offer (RFO)
Shortlisted RFI respondents will be invited to submit a full Request for Offer (RFO) by the nominated closing date. The RFO is currently under review and will be issued shortly. It is anticipated that the appointment of an Operator(s) will be completed by June 2010.
