Subscription Process
Subscribing to the Federation is easy. The AAF can provide you with information and assistance at every stage of the Subscription Process.
Who Can Subscribe?
Subscription to the AAF is available to organisations which undertake or support education, research or research and development in Australia. This includes tertiary education institutions, research organisations, government organisations and companies that provide products or services to the education and research sector.
Test Environment
Thinking about subscribing to the Federation? Institutions and organisations considering subscribing to the Australian Access Federation are free to use the Federation’s Test Environment to test and experiment with their own services. Technical documentation to assist you in the Test Environment is available on the AAF Technical Information site.
Sign the Subscription Form
To become a subscriber of the AAF’s services, you are required to complete and return the form in the subscription pack relevant to your organisation/institution.
Send a pdf copy to subscribe@aaf.edu.au or mail to c/o Australian Access Federation, PO Box 9432, Deakin, NSW 2600. Please note that the form must be signed by an authorised representative of your organisation.
Pay Subscription Fee
There is an annual subscription fee for AAF subscribers. For more details on subscription fees for 2011 see AAF Subscription Fees.
Move to the Production Environment
Once the signed form has been approved, the AAF Technical Support team will be available to assist you with transitioning your services from the test space to the production mode.
