Introduction

In 2012, the AAF is kick starting its Training Program by delivering a number of workshops across Australia aimed at increasing the technical skills of developers bringing services into the Federation, including new developers and those who may have previously worked with Federated services.

Testimonial from a recent Federating Services Workshop:

“The introductory workshop for integrating web services with the Australian Access Federation (AAF) was an excellent experience, and succeeded in demystifying the nature of single sign on of Shibboleth and the AAF. Being able to interact with AAF staff members was the very beneficial, and being able to get instant feedback on questions provided the jump-start needed to understand how things piece together end-to-end.”
David Beitey, Web Services Manager, eResearch Centre -James Cook University
